Fitted Diaper Kit: Can be turned & top stitched with a standard sewing machine or serged with a serger. Turning & top stitching gives a smooth, trim fit with no ruffling. Serged diapers can have matching or contrasting threads. These diapers have a ruffled look at the back and the leg openings. Both styles can be made with internal or external soakers. Along with the diaper and soaker layer cut outs we include precut Touch Tape, size tags, elastic and a smaller “scrap” piece of fabric to practice your elastic stitch with.

100% Cotton Flannel: Super soft, very absorbent, and economical. Makes very trim diapers. A woven (non-stretchy) fabric, this makes an excellent fabric for beginning seamstresses to work with. Each diaper is 3 body layers, 3 soaker layers.

Butt Knits Basic Longies/Shorties Knitting Pattern: A basic knitting pattern for shorties or longies. All of our patterns can be knit in worsted weight or heavy worsted weight yarn and made as shorties or longies.

• Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
• Gusseted crotch for greater mobility and comfort
• Instructions for working legs one at a time or both at the same time using the magic loop method
• Two methods for short rows - no wrapping!
• Four cuff options

Gauge:


• Worsted Weight Yarn: 5 sts.= 1” on sz. US 6 needles
• Heavy Worsted Weight Yarn: 5 sts. = 1” on sz. US 7 needles

Needles and Notions:

• Worsted Weight Yarn: US size 4 16” circulars, US size 6 16” circulars
• Heavy Worsted Weight Yarn: US size 6 16” circulars, US size 7 16” circulars
• Or 40”- 47” circular needle cable for magic loop method.
• Six (6) stitch markers of at least two different colors or styles – you need to be able to tell them apart.
• Set of DPN’s (double point needles)
